AGER was engaged to design the new Merck (MSD) headquarters in the Wangjing Park District of Beijing. The landscape design is composed of a series of gardens at the ground level and on the roof for use of small and larger groups. The gardens are delineated by sloped metal walls, water features and structured planting. The entry plaza with a central fountain marks the passing of the day at each hour with vibrant water jets. Stone and metal extend the materials of the building into the landscape.
