The master plan was done using a watershed protection approach and demonstrated that such projects can be developed without the destruction of natural systems. As a landscape infrastructure strategy, the ravine running through the center of the Forest Knoll Community continuous open space corridor. The water is filtered through the length of the ravine then through a serious of three infiltration ponds that are the focus of the Interpretive Gardens. The program at the Interpretive Center is about the exploration of green technologies both in the building and through out the landscape.
